About this Event
The Mississauga Health Primary Care Digital Summit is a focused, practical engagement forum for community-based family physicians and nurse practitioners. The Summit brings together Mississauga Health, the Mississauga Health Primary Care Network, and regional partners to provide clarity on priority digital initiatives that will directly impact how primary care is delivered in our community.
This is not a general digital health conference – it is a working session designed to prepare primary care for the digital changes already underway.
Why This Matters
Digital tools and system changes are being introduced across Ontario at an accelerated pace – often without clear guidance on what they mean for community practices.
This Summit is your opportunity to:
· Understand what’s coming and why
· See how digital initiatives are being designed to support primary care
· Learn what actions and timelines apply to your practice
· Connect meaningfully with the teams leading this work
We know there is digital fatigue across health care. This event is designed to cut through the noise and focus on what actually matters to your day-to-day practice.
What You Can Expect
The evening will feature multiple speakers from across the digital health space, including clinical, system, and technology leaders working in primary care transformation.
By attending, you will:
· Gain a clear picture of current and upcoming digital initiatives affecting primary care
· Learn how these tools are intended to reduce administrative burden, improve workflows and patient care delivery, and support practice sustainability
· Receive practical guidance on next steps and timelines
· Meet the teams who will be supporting implementation and adoption
· Network with colleagues and digital health leaders
A detailed agenda and full speaker list will be shared closer to the event.
Who Should Attend
· Community-based family physicians
· Nurse practitioners in primary care
Please note: While this session is designed for physicians and nurse practitioners, we also welcome anyone who supports or leads digital health in primary care to attend.
We recognize that the Summit takes place during the month of Ramadan. To support participants who are observing:
