Van egy meglepő elképzelésünk: a kisebbségi közösségek közös gondolkodása alapjaiban változtathatja meg a jövőnket.
Hiszünk abban, hogy a párbeszéd erejével együtt erősebbek vagyunk. A Bálint Ház, Budapest Pride, az Uccu Roma Informális Oktatási Alapítvány és a CEU konzorciumában közös gondolkodásra és új hálózatok építésére hívunk.
Ez a Minorities for Minorities Network.
Ennek keretében szeretettel várunk a Kisebbségek Egymásért konferenciára, egy kétnapos eseményre, ahol a roma, a zsidó és az LMBTQ közösségek tapasztalatai, kihívásai és lehetséges együttműködései kerülnek fókuszba. A konferencia célja, hogy teret nyisson azoknak a pontoknak a feltérképezésére, ahol a különböző kisebbségi tapasztalatok találkoznak, egymásra hatnak, és új közös gondolkodást tesznek lehetővé.
Miért érdemes már most beírni a naptárba?
A konferencia nem kész válaszokat kínál, hanem párbeszédet. Olyan előadásokkal és workshopokkal készülünk, amelyek az elméleti megközelítések mellett hangsúlyt fektetnek a tapasztalatcserére, a közös tanulásra és a hosszú távú együttműködések megalapozására.
A konferencia egyik fő előadója Dr. Ilan H. Meyer, a UCLA Williams Institute senior kutatója, a Columbia University professzor emeritusa. Dr. Meyer a világszerte elismert „minority stress” (kisebbségi stressz) elmélet kidolgozója, amely alapjaiban változtatta meg a kisebbségi csoportokat érő társadalmi hatások és a mentális egészség összefüggéseinek kutatását.
A nappali szakmai programokat mindkét este különleges konferencia utáni programok egészítik ki, és a közös emlékezés is része lesz az eseménynek – kapcsolódva a kisebbségek 20. századi tapasztalataihoz és azok mai hatásaihoz.

About the shared challenges and possibilities of Roma, Jewish, and LGBTQ communities — not in parallel, but in conversation with one another.
Within a consortium formed by Bálint Ház, Budapest Pride, the Uccu Roma Informal Educational Foundation, and CEU, we are creating space for joint thinking and the building of new connections.
This is the Minorities for Minorities Network.
In this framework, we warmly invite you to the Minorities for Minorities Conference, a two-day gathering focused on where minority experiences meet, influence one another, and open up new paths for cooperation. The conference aims to identify those points of intersection where different lived experiences can become the basis for shared thinking and long-term collaboration.
Why save the date now?
Because this conference is not about ready-made answers. It is about dialogue. Through talks and workshops, we will focus on exchange, collective learning, and the foundations of cooperation that extend beyond the event itself.
One of the conference’s keynote speakers will be Dr. Ilan H. Meyer, Senior Scholar at the UCLA Williams Institute and Professor Emeritus at Columbia University. His work on minority stress has fundamentally shaped how we understand the relationship between social pressure, minority experience, and mental health.
The daytime professional program will be complemented by evening events on both days. Shared remembrance will also be part of the conference, connecting 20th-century minority experiences with their ongoing impact today.
