About this Event
This unique Earth Heritage Network workshop at the University of Birmingham brings together four expert speakers including: Natalie Braber, Professor of Linguistics at Nottingham Trent University, whose work explores the voices of industrial communities; Graham Worton, Keeper of Geology at Dudley Council, a leading authority on the region’s geological story; Johanne Bruun, whose work explores industrial heritage and community engagement; and Dr Hiroki Shin, historian at the University of Birmingham, who situates local industrial histories within wider global contexts. Together, they will offer fresh perspectives on preserving mining heritage through collaborative, interdisciplinary discussion.
