About this Event
Join us for an inspiring afternoon at the BMI featuring an in-conversation event with acclaimed author and professor Patrick McGuinness, exploring his novel The Last 100 Days : a powerful reflection on memory, history, and the end of an era.
Delivered in collaboration with Culture Forward, the University of Birmingham and kindly supported by the National Lottery Awards for All, this event invites audiences into both conversation and practice in the interesting venue provided by the Birmingham & Midlands Institute, in the heart of Birmingham.
Following the interview, enjoy a 45-minute lunch break before taking part in a hands-on Creative Writing Workshop led by Patrick McGuinness. The 90-minute session offers a rare opportunity to engage directly with an award-winning writer, explore creative techniques, and develop your own writing in a supportive setting.
The afternoon will conclude around 3pm, leaving you inspired, connected, and creatively energised.
