Join Charles for a mini-retreat which will leave you feeling calm, refreshed and restored.This 3.5 hour retreat has been carefully curated to provide you with a much needed break from the busy-ness of life!
Agenda:
2 pm - “welcome” - arrive, settle in, introductions, explain agenda for afternoon.
2:15 pm “Yin Yoga” - all down on the mat, deep stretching, longer holds, soft music, lots of props.
3 pm pm “Break” - tea, chat, comfort breaks, etc.
3:15 pm “Flow Yoga” - mix of strengthening, balancing and stretching with fluid movements and transitions throughout. Faster pace and more energetic.
4:15 pm Break
4:30 pm “Restorative Yoga” & "Yoga Nidra"- deeply relaxing poses on the mat, using props to support & encourage more comfort. This is a slow, gentle practice where poses are held even longer than yin poses in order to find deep relaxation. “Yoga Nidra” - guided meditation, deep state of relaxation just before falling asleep, the most restorative and restful state for your body and mind with extensive health benefits.
5:30 pm “goodbyes” - feedback and goodbyes.

This mini retreat will be held in a comfortably warm studio (not hot).
Suitable for beginners and advanced practitioners.

In the event that you can no longer make this retreat, you may be able to transfer the place to someone else, to allow them to attend in your place.
