Vanessa has taught hundreds of students how to play American Mahjong and loves seeing the community of players grow. This class is perfect for beginners who've never sat at a Mahjong table or touched a tile before. In her 3 hour class, she teaches tile identification and how to read the National Mahjong League Card. You'll learn the procedures of play and how to create winning hands, all while covering the essential rules of the game.
The lesson will include how to deal and the procedure of the Charleston. You'll also have the opportunity to use blanks (gasp!). During this lesson you'll play games with guidance along the way. You'll receive handouts that will guide your future play.
