About this Event
Tibetan Kitchen and Steffie's Arts Space are collaborating to bring you this unique, creative and mindful summer evening 3 hour workshop.
After a Tibetan Kitchen chai (tea) or herbal tea, we'll relax with a mindful art workshop upstairs in the bus, facilitated by Steffie, looking at the cooking ingredients in a fresh way (using watercolour pencils, no experience needed). We'll then learn to cook 3 Tibetan vegetarian dishes with Sonny, Tibetan chef and co-founder of Tibetan Kitchen, in the covered pop up kitchen by the bus. The dishes will be: stir-fry noodles, spinach & cheese momos (Tibetan dumplings), and traditional Tibetan 'thentuk' soup. The best bit at the end is sitting together to eat all the delicious dishes we have made!
All ingredients, materials and recipe sheets provided. You are welcome to bring your own soft drinks/alcohol.
Please let us know in advance if you are vegan. Sorry but we are not able to make these dishes gluten free.
TIckets £50 (including Eventbrite fee) per person. Full refund minus Eventbrite fee available up to 7 days before the workshop.
Here is some of the feedback from the momo making and mindful art workshop on International Womens Day March 2026:
'Brill! Well balanced between art and momo making – all creative. Bus great / location good. Timings good = must have worked hard. Thank you 😊', 'Loved the hands on cooking and the mindful painting and lovely balance, thank you'. 'Relaxing, mindful and creative'. 'Really great location and setting.'
