Everyone experiences ups and downs at some point and poor mental health is hard to navigate alone. We can all have feelings that are hard to put into words but finding a way to talk about how you feel can help those feelings feel less intimidating.
you dont need to word it perfectly ....you just a moment of courage and the willingness to talk.
likewise , if someone checks in on you as they have noticed that you don't seem yourself....remember that you aren't a burden and grab five minutes over a cuppa to talk things through.
A simple ' How are you really doing? 'can make a bigger difference than you realise.
This week we are at Cuppa Joe. This venue supports our mind it group and what we are all about. We can talk openly in there without judgement....so this week we will be able to properly check in with each other. Its a lovely cosy coffee shop with a warm and welcoming vibe, a superb selection of drinks and delicious slices of cake!
If you would like to come and join us and find out what Mind It group is all about but would prefer for someone to meet you outside just let me know.
