About this Event
Join the High Desert Chapter on this botany walk on the Miller's Property. Marilyn and Craig Miller have graciously allowed us to take a stroll on their 10-acre property. Please park on the street as it will be difficult for all of us to park in their driveway.
Marilyn: I am a Master Woodland Manager, a Certified Naturalist, Vice-chair of the Deschutes Collaborative Forest Project. I am one of the original founders of the collaborative and hold the environmental seat. I own Miller Conservation Consulting. I have been doing various bird surveys (and some mammal ) for the past 25 years. I have been advocating for wildlife habitat on our public lands for years. For fun we spend our time birding, hiking, and traveling.
Craig: is a retired emergency room physician. He has been doing GIS for the Oregon Natural Desert Association for 25 years. Craig helped form ONDA almost 40 years ago. Craig is an expert birder.
