About this Event
Join your local food growers, gardeners and other nature-loving neighbours for a lunch gathering at Mile End Community Garden!
Bring a vegetarian or vegan dish to share (if you can, but no stress if you can't!) and we will provide hot drinks and sweet treats.
This will be a social event rather than a gardening one, but I'm sure there will be tasks to do if you'd like to garden as well. We are running this as a fundraiser to help pay for garden materials, but it's also fine if you can't donate. We will accept cash, and have a card machine on site.
Ideally come along between 12 and 1pm so we can eat together for 1, but feel free to drop by later if that suits.
We have no electricity or drinking water so please bring a bottle of water. We do have a beautiful compost toilet, shady areas and seating. The garden is wheelchair accessible.
