About this Event
Join us for the first Holy Communion of Christmas with sublime choral music from the St Olave Scholars and seasonal readings, with a chance to sing along to some classic Christmas Carols in our historic medieval church in the City of London.
A place of prayer and sanctuary for over nine hundred years, St Olave Hart Street was built on the site of the Battle of London Bridge & dedicated to a Viking warrior who became King of Norway and a saint associated with healing miracles. The building survived the Great Fire thanks in part to one of our most famous parishioners Samuel Pepys, who described it as ‘our own church’. We hope you will make St Olave Hart Street your ‘own church’ this Advent & Christmas.
Join us for traditional candlelit carol services, thoughtful preaching and sublime choral music in the surroundings of our beautiful medieval church, where all are always welcome.
