Get ready for a weekend like no other. On 30–31 May 2026, the Midlands Festival of Nature will transform Wicksteed Park into a vibrant family friendly celebration of wildlife, creativity, and community.This flagship event of the #NaturallyKettering campaign is organised and delivered by Kettering Nature Group CIC. It marks the culmination of a month-long programme of walks, talks, art, conservation projects, and family activities taking place all across Kettering - all building towards this spectacular finale.
Across the Festival weekend you’ll find:
Camping and nocturnal adventures - from magical bat walks to the chance to fall asleep under the stars. (booking details TBC)
Live music, art, and spoken word filling the park with colour and creativity.
The Community Area, where local groups showcase how they’re protecting and restoring nature on our doorstep.
The Wildlife Rescue & Rehab Area, shining a spotlight on the vital work of organisations saving wild animals in need.
The National Showcase Area, featuring big names in conservation and national organisations leading the fight for nature.
The Wild Arts Area, alive with music, art, spoken word and more, all celebrating nature through performance and expression.
Wildlife displays, offering awe-inspiring encounters and expert insights into the natural world.
Forest School activities, pond dipping, and the Wildlife Lodge, inspiring the next generation of nature lovers and showcasing ways to turn your space into a haven for nature.
