Modern Shows® is taking over one of London’s most talked-about creative spaces for a one-day-only Midcentury Modern celebration — and you’re invited.
Fresh from hosting design icons like Paul Smith and Margaret Howell, the effortlessly cool Mason & Fifth is handing the keys to the team behind Midcentury Modern® for a curated vintage experience unlike anything they have done before.
Opened in June 2025 and overlooking the Grand Union Canal, this former London taxi headquarters has been reimagined as a design-led hotel and creative hub — think studio apartments, co-working spaces, yoga and recording studios, shared kitchens, a standout restaurant, a beautiful café, and some of the most inspiring canal-side views in the capital.
For fans of Modern Shows® much-loved Midcentury Modern fairs in Dulwich, Haggerston and at The Hepworth Wakefield, this is something different — more intimate, more immersive, and perfectly in tune with the architecture and craft credentials of the space.
What to Expect
For one day only, Mason & Fifth will transform into a design treasure trove.
A hand-picked edit of exceptional dealers and designers will showcase:
- Iconic midcentury furniture
- Statement lighting
- Original art
- Covetable modern design pieces
While Dulwich events host around 85 dealers, this takeover is a tightly curated selection — refined, focused, and beautifully staged within the building itself. It’s less fair, more design discovery with 40+ stands.
