About this Event
Our favorite paper is opening its doors to the Mid-Michigan Spartans. Participants will have the chance to view papers from previous decades, to explore the newsroom, to meet award-winning student journalists, and to sit in on an editorial meeting. Refreshments will be provided.
This event is expected to fill quickly. If you try to register and the event is full, please add your name to the wait-list. In addition to being in line for cancellations, we'll know how many individuals are interested in the tour and can decide if offering a second date & time makes sense.
Please Note: The State News' offices are are above the Panda Express and Detroit Wing Company restaurants in downtown East Lansing. Their offices have a secure entrance in the alley at the rear of the building. A State News staffer or Mid-Michigan Spartan club volunteer will greet you at the door.

Parking: Participants who would like their parking validated should park in the hamster cage parking lot behind the State News' offices at 199 Division Street.

As with all Mid-Michigan Spartans events, an additional ticket option is available for those who wish to make a donation to support the operations of our club. The donation ticket is NOT a ticket to the event. If you wish to do both, make sure to select a general admission ticket and a donation ticket. We appreciate the generosity of those whose past contributions have allowed us to keep our programming inclusive and accessible.
