Just a heads up - Jo Pilston Pottery classes are geared toward ages 18+ so everyone can fully enjoy the experience.Who doesn’t love bacon… or at least live with someone who does? 🥓 and if you don't, this would make a great planter with attached tray!!
Let’s be honest — in my house, bacon is one of the four main food groups. And since my husband makes me bacon every weekend (he’s a keeper 😉), I figured why not make his job a little easier?
Introducing our Microwave Bacon Cooker Class!
In this class, you’ll create your own ceramic bacon cooker that’s as functional as it is fun. Simply drape the bacon over the rim of the cup, pop it in the microwave, and let the grease drip down onto the plate below. When you’re done, just pour the grease into your grease catcher (whatever that may be in your kitchen!), soak the cooker in hot, sudsy water — and it’s ready to go again.
Less mess. Easy cleanup. More bacon. Sounds like a win to me!

Who’s in?
All supplies are provided, so just show up ready to get a little messy and have a lot of fun.
Once class wraps up, Jo will take your cooker back to the studio to be glazed and fired to your specifications—the magical part where clay becomes functional art.
Your finished piece will be ready for pickup in 2–3 weeks.
Class is $70
