1. Only USBC Certified bowlers are eligible to bowl. Bowlers must have valid 2024/2025 USBC certification card at time of tournament check in. Certified bowlers without cards on the tournament site will have prize monies withheld until we can verify membership
2. Tournament will consist of an optional Drop In Singles Sweeper on the Tournament Shot Friday; Two (2) team squads (1 on Saturday and 1 on Sunday); And Two (2) Doubles & Singles squads (1 on Saturday and 1 on Sunday). Available lanes may restrict squad size, please see rule 3. Check in is one hour prior to squad time.
3. Entries will be capped at 72 bowlers for the Singles Sweeper, 24 teams for each team event, 36 Doubles pairs 72 Singles bowlers per squad. Tournament director and host house reserve the right to add doubles pairs if needed.
4. Entrants can compete twice in Team, Doubles & Singles events, but must change partner for doubles event and two bowlers for team, and must compete in second singles event . First of each event will count towards a bowlers all-Events Score (Team, Doubles and Singles Handicap combined). Eligible to cash only once in singles or All Events.
5. This is a handicap tournament. Each Bowler/Team will receive handicap of 80% of the difference of their tournament averages and 880 pins per game. Teams over 880 pins, and doubles over 440 pins and singles over 220 will bowl scratch (no handicap).
6. AVERAGES; Bowlers shall use their 700 Club State Tournament Averages based on at least 18 games or their highest 2024-2025 average as listed on Bowl.com. If neither of the previous averages are available, bowlers will use their highest current average (21 game minimum) for the 2025/2026 season as of 4/30/2026.
Sport League averages must be clearly identifiable and will be converted using the conversion chart in the USBC rule book. All bowlers without one of the previously stated averages will use a 220 average. Averages are subject to verification, and any bowler found to have a higher average than the one submitted or a non-disclosed Sports league Average may be cause for forfeiture of all prize monies and awards
7. Professional Bowlers: Not more than two professionals on a 4-bowler team and only one on a two bowler team.
8. Entries must be post-marked by April 27, 2026. Squads are assigned on a first come/first serve basis. If the squad is full we will do our best to assign you to a squads that same day/weekend.
9. All prize money will be returned 100% at a MINIMUM ratio of at least one prize for every 7 entries. Tournament champions will receive awards.
10. This tournament is open to ALL members of the Michigan 700 Clubs of America whose chapter's dues are current. Chapter Pin Buoys must verify that the bowler's dues are current. If you are not part of a Local 700 Club an unattached 700 Club State Membership can be purchased for $20.
11. Any bowler falsifying their average will be disqualified in accordance with USBC rule 319a-3. Prize winnings shall be based on their submitted average if it is higher than the correct average. However, corrections in averages may be permitted up to the completion of the first game of the series.
12. All decisions of tournament management are final unless an appeal is made in accordance with USBC rule 329.
13. Prize checks will be mailed to designated captains within 30 days after tournament ends. Results will be posted on the official tournament website: http://www.tournamentbowl.com
14. USBC Rule319a-2 (10 pin average rule), 319 (D) (prize winnings), and 319 (E) (15 pin average rule) are waived for al participants in this tournament.
15. DRESS CODE: All Bowlers must wear a collared shirt. Shorts will be allowed as long as presentable (No cut offs, no Stretch-gym shorts, etc…). 700 Club shirts should be worn with pride in tournaments. Hats will be allowed during tournament play, MUST be worn correctly (bill facing forward) and must be in good taste and not offensive.
16. Fees are $30 per bowler, per event; and an optional $10 all event (combined handicap score for Team, Doubles and singles). Total fee for full participation are $100 per bowler. ($125 if doing both regular and senior singles and all events. This is for bowlers 55 and over.)
17. A late bowler or team will be allowed to bowl, but, the score will start in the frame which bowlers on that pair are in. If two lanes of bowlers are late, their score will begin in the frame of the teams on the adjoining pairs. The
Bowler will receive zero (0) for all missed frames.
18. Substitutions are subject to verification of average and current 700 Club Membership (Dues paid to date).
19. Bowlers 55 and over may select SENIOR ALL EVENTS and SENIOR SINGLES.
