A Memphis-based writer with more than 22 years of professional experience, Michelle has written for trade industry and culture publications covering travel, lifestyle, and the stories behind how things are made. She brings an observational eye and real-world insight to her fiction, blending humor with emotional honesty. She is also the creator and host of The Purposeful Heart, a Christian karaoke series in Bartlett, Tennessee, which centers music, community, and encouragement. Through her writing and creative work, Michelle believes in honest conversations, meaningful connection, the power of starting over, and a great playlist.

Award-winning author, coach, podcaster, and speaker, Chamel Jackson is the author of Women and Intimate Tales (W.A.I.T.) (2016), where she helps teens make informed decisions about sexual activity, and Girl, Forget All That! Moving Forward After a Relationship Ends (2023), where she empowers single women to heal from breakups using her own personal healing journey.
