About this Event
Saxophonist and Moon Hooch co-founder Michael Wilbur joins forces with DJ Aims to unleash a powerful hybrid of live horns and electronic music, creating a massive, dance-floor-driven experience unlike anything else. Mastering the saxophone for 28 years and performing professionally worldwide for 16, Wilbur helped spark a brass-driven dance music revolution from NYC subways to global stages in over 20 countries. Now, through live looping on bass saxophone, tenor saxophone, trumpet, and voice, alongside Aims’ live DJing, vocals, and high-energy performance, he delivers a genre-defying fusion of EDM, jazz, hip-hop, soul, and house.
Future Joy is the vibrant power couple of Emily Cooper and Zach Simms, a genre-blending, high-energy fusion of DJ performance and live instrumentation. Hailing from both Denver, CO, and St. Petersburg, FL, they’ve been igniting and uniting dance floors and festival stages for years.
Combining the best of Funk, House, Bass, Pop, Drum & Bass, Hip-Hop, Techno, Jazz, Dubstep, and beyond, Future Joy delivers a boundary-breaking sound that turns every set into an explosive, joyful experience. Both members sing, DJ, and play keys, while Zach brings an extra blast of energy ontenor, baritone, and bass saxophones.
Future Joy has brought their sonic celebration to iconic festivals like Bonnaroo, Hulaween, Treefort,
Elements, Secret Dreams, Oregon Country Fair, Resonate, Joshua Tree Music Festival, and Memphis
RiverBeat, among many others. They’ve shared the stage as direct support for artists such as The Polish Ambassador, Moon Hooch, BoomBox, SunSquabi, Manic Focus and Marvel Years.
Their love runs deep through the music, fully realized in their debut full-length studio album, NOW, released in 2025 and already gaining international recognition. As Your EDM puts it, “Together, theycreate music that elevates the soul, soothes the heart and eases the mind. Their music is filled withwhimsy, unfiltered authenticity and pure bliss.”
At its core, Future Joy is about connection, community, sonic exploration and FUN! Their mission? To spread joy through music, one dance floor at a time.
Father Figure is the genre-bending brainchild of producer/DJ/vocalist Matt Weishaupt (aka Matty Dubz), launched in 2017 and transformed into a formidable duo in 2022 with the addition of longtime live collaborator Matt McLaren.
Based in Albany, NY, the duo draws deep from the soul of Golden Era NY hip-hop—think J Dilla, DJ Premier, Pete Rock—while branching into the lush textures of electronic music and the improvisational spirit of the jam scene. The result? A sonic experience that’s both nostalgic and boundary-pushing.
From gritty, bassy boom-bap beats to expansive, immersive soundscapes, their music is a living collage—always evolving, always vibing.
Father Figure has lit up stages at premier festivals including Elements Music & Arts Festival, Camp Bisco, Dreamscape, Fire Lights, Karnival of the Arts, Big Dub, and NY Harvest Fest, among many others. They’ve supported a wide range of artists such as Pretty Lights, CloZee, Manic Focus, Michal Menert, Maddy O’Neal, Saxsquatch, Of The Trees, SoDown, Tripp St. and Marvel Years, bringing their unique blend of head-nodding grooves and electronic energy to every crowd they touch.
