After the boots hit the pavement for the Cowboy 5K Ramble Run, keep the celebration going with a night of live country music at the historic Turnage Theatre.Join us at 6:30 PM for a free concert featuring Michael Schott & Band, one of Eastern North Carolina’s rising country artists and the 2025 CCMA Entertainer of the Year. Known for his polished vocals, strong songwriting, and classic country guitar style, Schott delivers an authentic sound that blends modern country energy with traditional roots.
Raised in the farming community of Stella, NC, Schott built his career performing across the region and has recently opened for national acts including Parmalee, Sawyer Brown, and Chris Cagle. With new music on the way—including his upcoming EP That’s My Honky Tonk—Schott continues to build momentum as one of the region’s most exciting country performers.
This concert is part of the Arts of the Pamlico’s 1st Annual Cowboy 5K Ramble Run & Rhythm, a western-themed day celebrating fitness, community, and the legacy of the Historic Turnage Theatre, once visited by America’s beloved singing cowboy Roy Rogers and his horse Trigger.
