The April meeting of the Muskoka Field Naturalists is our AGM, and will be highlighted by another excellent speaker. The topic is Canada's Caribou, specifically the Barren-Ground Caribou of Nunavut. Guest speaker Dylan White is a professional biologist, guide & educator. More than 400 projects and 15 years of research and conservation work has taken him all over Canada and around the world. For the past 10 years, Dylan has been involved with caribou research in Nunavut, where he has come to understand and believe that Caribou are the keystone species of the Canadian wilderness. The meeting will be held, as usual, on Thursday, April 2, at 6 p.m. in the Castle Peak room of the Bracebridge Public Library. Refreshments and snacks to start, with the talk commencing at 6:30 p.m. There will be no Zoom video option available.
