DEMONSTRATION EVENT. Please note that no gluten will be used in our recipes tonight, but our kitchen does handle gluten. This is not a celiac friendly environment.

On the menu tonight:
Salsa Verde: Delicious green salsa made with tomatillos, avocado and Serrano peppers for a hint of spice. Served with Tortilla chips.
Pork Carnitas: Slow Roasted Pork Confit, staple from the Michoacan State and famous world wide, this pork is an amazing and easy dish for your taco party
Xnipec: Mayan word meaning 'dog snout', is a spicy sauce native to the Yucatán peninsula, made with habanero pepper, purple onion, bitter orange juice, salt, Mexican oregano and bay leaf. Warning: very spicy ! Have a try if you're not faint of heart (we will have other sauces to offer if you prefer something milder)
Tortillas from scratch, to go with the Carnitas. Take turns at trying to make your own tortillas!
Mexican Cheese Pie: Traditional Pie made with Cream Cheese and Condensed Milk, its Delicioso! The Pie dough is made is gluten free oats.

Want to save the Eventbrite fee? You can register in person and over the phone directly with the store (604) 939-6200. Payment is required when you register - visa, MasterCard, gift certificates are accepted over the phone, cash and debit in person.
We have a 72 hours cancelation policy. If you need to cancel but have not given 72 hours notice, no refund, transfer to another class or credit will be issued, but you can send somebody in your place.
In the event that not enough participants are registered, we would have to cancel the class. We will notify registered participants at least 48 hrs prior and issue a full refund.
Chefs will try to accommodate food allergies or dietary restrictions if given 72 hours notice. Please inquire prior to booking if there are any food concern.
