Mentors! WELCOME to Edge4Vets!
Our in-person workshop helps veterans translate their military strengths into "tools" for civilian success, then we connect them to decision-makers at our partner companies to explore opportunities for good jobs that can lead to great careers.
As a "workshop mentor" you'll be providing them with feedback during the training session.
Join us Monday, April 14 from 9am to 2:30pm when Fordham will host our next in-person session at the Lincoln Center Campus - in collaboration with the NYC Dept of Veterans' Service, Vets Indexes, NYC-SHRM and our partner companies.
The workshop is offered by the Human Resiliency Institute in the Gabelli School of Business and will be held in Fordham's Lowenstein Building in the 12th Floor Conference Room at 113 W. 60 St, New York, NY 10023. Register today!
The MENTOR ORIENTATION video will show you how the program works to support veterans to become "job ready," and the role you as a "workshop mentor" will provide to assist them in the learning process:
The program, which has been offered since 2011 for 2500 veterans in nine states, is designed to put our participating veterans on a pathway to success in life.
