About this Event
PLEASE NOTE: This is an in-person event at Mycenae House in South East London.
Mental Health in Menopause is a free, fully funded work designed to support self-employed women and those in small businesses through the emotional and mental challenges of menopause.
During the 3 hours you’ll learn how menopause affects your mind and mood, discover practical tools to manage stress, anxiety and burnout and explore ways to redesign your routines and boundaries for greater balance.
The course also focuses on building confidence and resilience, helping you navigate this stage of life with clarity, calm and renewed self-belief.
Who Is This Workshop For?
To qualify for a funded spot, you must be:
✔️ Self-employed, a freelancer, or employed by a micro/small business (under 250 staff)
✔️ Based in the UK
✔️ A woman, or a trans man or non-binary person assigned female at birth (AFAB) who may experience peri/menopause
✔️ Without access to internal HR, wellbeing or menopause support at work
If you are juggling work, clients, self-employment or business leadership without internal wellbeing support, this workshop is for you.
Here is what women who attended the workshop said:
This course gave me the tools and confidence I needed to navigate menopause without letting it define my work or my life. I finally understand what's happening in my mind and body, and I have practical strategies to manage the stress and anxiety. It's been transformative for my business and my wellbeing. THANK YOU
Sabina Moretti, Marketing/Event Manager
I attended this workshop yesterday and found it inspiring to be with a group of professional women all juggling multiple thing - business, family, health, professional profile while on a roller coaster of perimenopausal symptoms. Many ideas not only on how to help ourselves but wider support and tools available and even women sharing how they have created spaces and communities of their own - truly inspiring. MenoMinds Haley & Victoria created an amazing safe space for all of this to happen in 3 short hours. Thank you - I will be recommending the course to all the women I know - pre peri, peri and post menopause.
Nicola Shearer, Director Little Springtime
The course allowed a safe space to openly discuss many difficult aspects of menopause. The facilitators put me at ease from the start. It made me feel validated and accepted in my burnout and encouraged me to try to get back to using my skills more.
Dr. Kate Yorke, Consultant Clinical Psychologist
A real eye-opener, so good to be able to make more sense of everything, particularly all the emotions and realise that I am not alone on this Journey. It really makes a lot of sense and gave me some things I can work on to improve my own wellbeing both at work and home. Thank you for championing Menopause education - it is so needed.
Emma Stewart, Programme Manager, Parents 1st UK
Over the next 12 months, MenoMinds will deliver 40 workshops, reaching up to 800 women across the UK, led by two experts in the fields of mental health and menopause: Victoria Brookbank and Haley White.
As Victoria, Director of Minds That Work, explains:
“We’re passionate about ensuring women in business don’t have to face menopause-related mental health challenges alone. MenoMinds gives them tools, knowledge and a supportive community to help them thrive personally and professionally.”
And Haley, Director of Menospace, adds:
“Menopause is still surrounded by silence and stigma, especially in the business world. Through MenoMinds, we’re changing that narrative and helping women feel confident, capable and connected particularly when working alone or in small businesses with little or no support.”
