About this Event
Mental Health Ideas Exchange - October 10, 2024
Mental health care is health care. Disparities in access to and quality of mental and behavioral health services continue to persist. In the United States, 57.8 million people live with a mental illness, only half of whom receive services to address mental health issues. Behavioral health conditions account for over 50% of healthcare costs.
Despite this challenge, many systems-thinkers and providers have come up with innovative solutions to solving persistent problems in equitable behavioral health care delivery, developing effective models of care that have had a positive impact on the community.
You're receiving a special invitation to join a group of nonprofit, government and private-sector experts in the field, including managed care and health plans, both local Greater Charlotte leaders and national leaders in health, mental health and behavioral health care to hear an idea exchange among multiple panels, and participate in a rich reflection discussion. Save the date and plan to join us in exploring innovative solutions that deliver the right care to all people at the right time, in ways that work best for them.
