About this Event

Event Description

Join us for a powerful and honest evening focused on men’s mental health, connection, and conversation.

This Men’s Mental Health Awareness Evening marks nearly 12 months since Andy’s Man Club opened its doors in Hereford. In that time, the message has remained simple but life changing

It’s okay to talk

Hosted at the Shell Store in Hereford and powered by Herefordshire Means Business alongside Andy’s Man Club Hereford, this event brings together community, business, and lived experience in one room.

Throughout the evening, you’ll hear from three guest speakers who will share their personal stories. These are real conversations about real experiences, offering insight into the challenges men face and the strength that comes from opening up.

You’ll also hear directly from Andy’s Man Club Hereford about the impact the group has had locally over the past year, and how weekly sessions are helping men across the city feel heard, supported, and understood.

We are also proud to feature JAMO, who are doing incredible work in creating spaces, opportunities, and support networks for young people and the wider community.

What to Expect

• Three powerful and honest speaker stories

• Insight into the impact of talking and opening up

• A talk from Andy’s Man Club Hereford

• An introduction to JAMO and the work they do

• A welcoming, safe, and non judgemental environment

• Opportunity to connect with others in the community

Why Attend

This evening is about more than awareness. It’s about action, connection, and continuing to break the stigma around men’s mental health.

Whether you’re coming to support someone, learn more, or simply be part of the conversation, you’ll leave with a deeper understanding of why talking matters.
