Í tilefni af Menningarnótt býður Norræna húsið uppá skemmtilega viðburði fyrir alla aldurshópa. Húsið verður fullt af tónlist, sögum og sköpun, vertu með!
Fjölbreytt úrval viðburða verður í boði:
13:00 – 14:00: Barnabókasafn: Hátíðin hefst með sögustund í Barnabókasafninu þar sem rithöfundurinn Rán Flygenring les úr bók sinni Fuglar.
14:00 – 15:00: Barnabókasafn: Sögu – og söngstund, að þessu sinni á norsku og sænsku með Simon.
14:00 – 16:00: Barnabókasafn: Börn og fullorðnir geta skapað list með fuglaþema. Smiðjan er leidd af listakonunni Estelle Pollaert.
15:00 – 16:00: Hvelfing: Sabina Westerholm, forstöðumaður Norræna hússins og sýningarstjóri núverandi sýningar okkar, Time After Time, býður upp á leiðsögn um sýninguna sem fer fram á ensku.
16:00 – 17:00: Bókasafn: (fyrir fullorðna) Við erum spennt að kynna okkar fyrsta „Drink and Draw” í Norræna húsinu. Í samstarfi við listamanninn, rithöfundinn og dragdrottninguna Sindri Sparkle Freyr, gefst þér tækifæri að taka þátt í litríkri og skapandi vinnustofu á meðan þú nýtur góðra drykkja / Kokteila/Mocteila á meðan þú teiknar í skemmtilegri og afslappaðri umgjörð okkar fallega bókasafns.
17:00 – 18:00: Elissa: Við ljúkum deginum með lifandi djasstónleikum með færeysku hljómsveitinni Frítt Fall!
Plantan bístró verður með opið allann daginn og býður uppá frábærann matseðil og fallegar kökur.

Join Us for an Afternoon of Music and Art at the Nordic House – Reykjavík Culture Night 2025 !
In celebration of Reykjavík Culture Night 2025, the Nordic House warmly welcomes everyone to an inspiring afternoon filled with music, storytelling, and creativity.
Throughout the day, a variety of events will take place:
13:00 – 14:00 : Children’s Library: The festivities begin with a Story Hour in the Children’s Library, where author Rán Flygenring will read from her book Birds.
14:00 – 15:00 : Children’s Library: Following this, there will be another Story and Singing Hour, this time in Norwegian and Swedish with Simon.
14:00 – 16:00 : Children’s Library: Children can take part in a drop-in craft workshop led by artist Estelle Pollaert, creating bird-themed crafts.
15:00 – 16:00 : Hvelfing Exhibition space: Sabina Westerholm, Director of the Nordic House and curator of our current exhibition Time After Time, will offer a guided tour in English.
16:00 – 17:00 : Library: (for adults)
We’re excited to present our first-ever “Drink and Draw” at the Nordic House. In collaboration with artist, writer, and drag queen Sindri Sparkle Freyr, this colourful and creative workshop invites you to sip cocktails or mocktails and sketch in a fun, relaxed setting.
17:00 – 18:00 : Elissa: We’ll close the day with a live jazz concert by the Faroese band Frítt Fall!
