Limina: A Journal of Historical and Cultural Studies invites you to its annual conference, On Memory – an interdisciplinary humanities conference exploring how memory shapes identity, culture, politics, and our relationship to the past. From personal recollections to collective narratives, memory is a powerful force in how humans understand themselves and the world. In an era of rapid technological change, contested histories, and shifting political landscapes, questions of what we remember – and what we choose to forget – are more urgent than ever. Questions of how memory inhibits places, and how it is preserved, transformed, or manipulated by political power, historical narratives, or artificial intelligence will be explored. Through panels spanning diverse themes, Limina invites attendees to engage with fresh perspectives, connect ideas across disciplines, and consider why the study of memory matters today. Join us for two days of thought-provoking conversation and discovery.Get tickets: https://events.humanitix.com/limina-2025-conference
