Join the City of Edinburg for our Memorial Day Commemorative Ceremony as we come together to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.This special ceremony will pay tribute to the sacrifices made by our fallen heroes and recognize the enduring legacy of courage, service, and patriotism they leave behind.
In addition to the ceremonial programming the City of Edinburg is proud to announce “A Letter to the Fallen,” a special writing competition for graduating high school seniors in Edinburg. This meaningful initiative invites seniors to submit an original letter paying tribute to the City’s fallen heroes. The competition is open exclusively to graduating seniors attending a City of Edinburg high school, the winner will receive a $250 scholarship. All entries must be submitted by Friday, May 15, 2027, at 5:00 p.m. To enter the competition students must submit their letter to edinburgarts.com/memorial-day-ceremony
