Melville Summer Music is back for its fourth annual season of free, family-friendly concerts near you! Join us beneath the trees and lush parklands of the City of Melville to enjoy lively tunes from talented local artists – all while sharing a picnic with family and friends. For this concert as part of the Melville Summer Music series, prepare to be captivated by Walyalup artist Sgt. Hulka, known for her unique blend of Soul Pop. With nominations for the WAM Song of the Year in both 2023 and 2024, she pours her heart into her music.
Always adorned in sparkles, Sgt. Hulka is joined on stage by a vibrant band featuring punchy horns, solid rhythms and powerful vocals.

⬜ Arrive from 4.30pm to set up your picnic blanket. Folder chairs are welcome – please allow space for people with picnic blankets to set up in front, so everyone can see.
⬜ Food truck providers will be announced closer to the event.
⬜ Bring your own reusable plates, cups and cutlery, as we try to reduce waste at our events.
⬜ Sgt. Hulka will take the stage at 5.00pm, followed by a short break before their second set begins at 6.00pm. The event will finish at 7.00pm.
--- Getting to the event ---
If you can, please ride, bus or ride share to the event.
ACROD parking and audience set down will be located at John Creaney Park, with entry off Francisco Crescent. Please follow traffic warden instructions with car parking on the reserve.
--- Accessibility Information ---
The event will begin in late afternoon daylight and continue into early evening, though music will finish before full sundown.
Music will be amplified.
Attendees using ACROD parking and general parking will be required to use the bike path for a short distance to access the event.
Centennial Park is sloped as you approach the stage but remains a flat area around the food trucks and toilets.
ACROD toilets will be available on site and food trucks will be located on the other side of the event, towards Hardy Street.
Both the toilets and food trucks are along the bike path and easily accessible, though there is a small distance between both, approximately 50m.

Please note, there will be a photographer and videographer capturing pictures and footage of the event, with content taken to be used for City of Melville’s promotional purposes.
