Meisner Work by Scott TrostAdvanced Acting Workshop in English
A two-day intensive actor training led by Scott Trost, Executive Director of the Meisner Institute Los Angeles. Over 12 hours of focused work, we will explore key exercises of the Meisner Technique as taught by Scott in his international practice. This is a unique opportunity to deepen your craft under the guidance of a teacher with decades of experience working with advanced actors.
This workshop is intended for actors with prior experience in the Meisner Technique (minimum Intro level). We will focus on developing the ability to listen truthfully, respond spontaneously, and remain fully present in the given circumstances. The structure and selection of exercises will be tailored by Scott to the needs of the group, based on his intuition and extensive teaching experience.

Scott about himself:
Sanford Meisner taught acting for 60 years and trained 37 actors who were nominated for or won Oscars. I am honored to be continuing his legacy as the Executive Director of the Meisner Institute. Part of my work is dedicated to training the next generation of Meisner teachers. Two of the most talented teachers I have trained are Bart and Jagoda. Over the past two years, I’ve had the pleasure of visiting Warsaw twice to work with them and their amazing students. I am continually inspired by what they are building at their school and I am excited to return to continue this adventure with all of you as we share our hearts and create magic in our imagination.
