Over four years ago, during a special ceremony, I was blessed to meet my future self — The Crone. Now I am sharing what I learned and how I've been practising walking with the Crone in my present day life.
Much of my work as a somatic and nature based counsellor centers around helping people connect with and heal their inner child. Meeting your Crone or elder self offers something equally powerful — a glimpse into the wisdom, compassion, and strength that already lives within you.
Together we will enter the day through our senses and then be lead on an inner journey where you will be guided to meet the wise woman within. There you will get to ask and notice deeply- What does she want you to know? What does she urge you to turn your attention and focus towards? What will she encourage you to heal/release/believe about life and yourself? How might she handle a current situation you’re facing?
We will share our findings together and through rituals and somatic practises, learn how to walk with the Crone so that you can step more fully into your life knowing what guides you from within.
This workshop is for anyone female identifying person, at any age (over 17), who is curious to learn how to access their inner wise woman.
I have facilitated this workshop several times and each time it is a unique and profound experience for participants, and together as a group gathering around this important archetype. I lived on Salt Spring for over 10 years and I feel called to bring this workshop back to this island that woke me up to the wise woman inside of me. I'm excited to host this on Naomi Jason's property where I also used to run nature programs for youth.
