Meet the Wakefield July 4th parade artists! The Wakefield Independence Day Committee was invited to participate in the Arts Collaborative of Wakefield’s April Art Exhibit, Demos & Sale! What better fit with the theme “Past Tense” than Wakefield’s parade that started in 1922!
Meet Dan Benjamin, the artist who created Indy and past parade “merch” and Laurel Sullivan, the artist who designed this year’s 250th Commemorative T-Shirt.
During the Saturday, April 18th session from 11am-2pm:
• Purchase 250th Commemorative T-Shirts
• Have your photo taken with TEN-foot-tall Indy
• Take a sneak peek at the parade acts coming this July 4th
• Get free stickers and coloring pages
See you there!
The Beebe Library will also have an exhibit at the same time! We love them! Lauren Poole did a blog on the parade...
