In this 2-hour interactive workshop we will design our own custom parts in CAD.About this Event
Denis Loginowski of Proof of Concept will teach this workshop on CAD for 3D printing!
Along the way, you'll:
- Get a tour of the interface and an explanation of the key tools a beginner should know.
- Learn about parametric design and effective workflows to use when designing
- Learn tips for easier 3d-printability of your designs
- Learn how to import and export files effectively, and how it can improve your productivity.
- Have what you designed 3d printed for you after the class.
The workshop will take place from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on April 17th at Creative Chaos Emporium, 239 North Ave in Wakefield MA. Denis will be projecting and recording his screen.
Although not mandatory, participants should bring laptops to follow along with the interactive portion. Onshape is cloud-based and will run on most computers in the browser (no install needed). You can make a student account for free ahead of time.
