About this Event
Meet the Heroes is a kid friendly interactive Black History event in Durham, NC through a collaboration of parents.
Each February parents and children are invited to meet Heroes of Black History through actors, activities and crafts. The event is designed like a living museum where you are free to travel and meet the historical figures and participate in a craft or STEM project based on the profession and achievements of each Hero. You can listen to the hero's personal story of triumph, perseverance, and success.
This year is all about transportation! Enjoy car racing, drone lessons, boat crafts and train activities.
