Sir Andy Cooke QPM DL, His Majesty’s Chief Inspector of Constabulary and Fire & Rescue Services, will be visiting campus on Monday, 10 February.
Sir Andy will deliver a lecture to students at 1pm in the i3 Building, following a lunch at 12 noon in the staff dining area in Our Place.
From constable to Chief Constable of Merseyside Police, Sir Andy led major organisational improvements and held national leadership roles, including national lead for serious organised crime and the UK Protected Persons Service. He was awarded the Queen’s Police Medal, is a Deputy Lieutenant of Merseyside, and was knighted in the King’s New Year Honours for services to policing and public service.
