On the last Sunday of August, September, and October, Milwaukee Avenue will be closed to automobile traffic from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. between the North/Damen intersection and Ashland, encouraging neighbors to explore the corridor on foot. The closures aim to boost foot traffic and support local businesses along the route; bicycles will be allowed with dedicated lanes.
