Princes and princesses, lords and ladies, peasants and knights – join us for four days of medieval revelry within the grand battlements of magnificent Mont Orgueil Castle as we welcome back to our fair isle Griffin Historical (you may have seen them earlier this year as pirates at the Maritime Museum).
Take part in our all-day activities which include:
Medieval physician
Medieval cook
Medieval scribe/calligraphy
Brass rubbing
Learning the Bayeaux Tapestry stitch
Hobby Horse jousting
You can also follow a pilgrimage trail to find the mythical beasts of Mont Orgueil
Knights in armour battle at noon and 3pm daily. The musicians will play daily at 10.30am to 1.30pm
These re-enactors perform all over Europe and entertain the public with their spectacular skills and extensive historical knowledge. Experience day-to-day medieval life and the thrills of hobby horse jousting. There is also a fantastic opportunity to battle with the knights in armour from Warwick Castle. ‘Medieval Revels’ is one not to miss!
Normal entry fee applies. Children under 6 and Jersey Heritage Members go FREE.
