Berkeley Herbal Center’s very own medicine making team is thrilled to invite you to a hands-on Medicine Making Series exploring one of the most essential herbal preparations: tinctures! Tinctures are a cornerstone of herbal medicine: potent, shelf-stable plant extracts that are easy to take, quick to absorb, and can last for over a decade. In this class, you’ll learn how to extract the healing properties of herbs using alcohol, understand the why and how of tincture making, and create your own to take home.
