About this Event
Four Mitchell College School of Business students were selected to bring the McKeon Family Foundation from concept to reality. Acting as consultants, they worked collaboratively to research, design, and implement the foundation’s structure, mission, and strategic direction. Throughout the process, they demonstrated professionalism, creativity, and strong problem-solving skills while gaining real-world experience working with a live client. Each student contributed unique strengths—from project management and research to branding and presentation—playing a key role in shaping the foundation’s identity. This hands-on opportunity allowed them to apply classroom knowledge in a meaningful way while building confidence and practical skills. Their work reflects dedication, teamwork, and a commitment to making a positive impact. As they prepare to launch the foundation, they are eager to share their experience, connect with local professionals, and explore future career opportunities within the community.
