Join us for one of downtown Houston's most beloved spring traditions — May Fête at Christ Church Cathedral!
For over 120 years, Christ Church Cathedral has celebrated the arrival of spring with May Fête, a joyful community gathering that brings together families, neighbors, and friends of all backgrounds for a morning of worship, food, music, and fun. Founded in 1839, the Cathedral is the oldest congregation in Houston and has been a heart of downtown community life ever since.
Here's what's in store:
- 🙏 Bilingual worship service at 10 a.m.
- 💃 The traditional Maypole dance
- 👑 Crowning of the May Fête royals
- 🎶 Live performances
- 🎨 Children's activities & games
- 🍽️ Lunch for all
Whether you're a longtime Cathedral family, a downtown neighbor, or simply looking for a great way to spend a Sunday morning — there's a place for you at May Fête. This is a free, family-friendly event open to everyone, no ticket or registration needed.
