About this Event
Following our March 25th session, where we explored practical strategies for supporting youth mental health in afterschool spaces, many of you shared a desire for more time to ask questions and talk through real-life situations.
This follow-up session is designed to do just that.
Join us for an interactive Coffee & Conversation where we will host a panel of clinicians from Colorado LiftED. This is an opportunity to bring forward specific scenarios, challenges, or questions from your afterschool programs and receive guidance, perspective, and practical strategies to support youth in meaningful and responsive ways.
Whether you're navigating behavioral concerns, emotional regulation challenges, or simply looking for additional tools, this space is meant to support you in the work you’re already doing every day.
Panelists:
· Aimee Alcorn, MSW, LCSW – Senior Director of Clinical Programs, Colorado LiftED Foundation
· Akilah Martin, MA, LPCC – Associate Behavioral Health Therapist, Colorado LiftED Foundation
· Alyssa Karrasch, MA, LPCC – Associate Behavioral Health Therapist, Colorado LiftED Foundation
To make the most of out this session, please send any questions you have on this topic to [email protected]. We’ll create a Q&A that will be shared with you after the session.
