Storytelling builds community! The Alameda Story Slam is a monthly open mic storytelling event. Each month has a different theme and featured storyteller. Join host Yael Schy and Featured Storyteller Holly Shaw for OUR NEXT EVENT OF 2026 ON FRIDAY, MAY 1st AT 7:30 PM! THE THEME IS “SPONTANEOUS CONNECTION!” Put your name in the hat for a chance to tell a 5-minute true personal story based on the theme, or just listen & enjoy!
