About this Event
Maxxeapolis is Minneapolis, but BIGGER. They are a brand new sketch comedy group in the Twin Cities, formed by two self-proclaimed “sketch comedy freaks” with decades of sketch writing, directing, performing, and producing between them (Pack Theater, Upright Citizens Brigade, Philly Sketchfest, BlackVerse Comedy Show) and featuring the BEST of the best writers and performers the Twin Cities have to offer. Sketches may include over-the-top situations, consciously stupid jokes, moments of clarity and high brow fun, and one joke about Helen Keller.
60-75 minute sketch comedy show. One 10 minute intermission. Positive mental attitude and joyous laughter mandatory for entry. Dress code: casual. Plus ones allowed. Plus twos are better. Recommended ages 18+ due to language, on-stage debauchery, and general absurdity. RSVPs encouraged, but not mandatory. Please, no gifts.
