About this Event

Welcome to Saint Paul's first Sound of Movement, a wellness experience consisting of the science of breathwork and instructor-led movement accompanied by live sound.

Expect to be guided through a journey of internal syncrhonization by using your breath and live sound as a mechanism to flow into easy motion. You will settle into the space with a brief overview of the science behind breathwork, followed by various breath techniques. From there, an instructor will lead you through light movement driven by breath and accompanied by live drumming to encourage breath and movement remain synchronized. You will be encouraged to discover how breath, motion, and rythym can function as one coordinated system.

Let us celebrate our community in this unique and welcoming venue. During the session, Alexandra will drum us through different rhythms while Annie guides participants through light rhythmic movement. Both Alexandra and Annie are experienced in the space, with Alexandra drumming for 10+ years and Annie competing in 20 years of gymnastics and having certifications in various modalities. The instructors will lead you towards the highly sought after "flow state" that will leave you feeling enriched in multiple facets of life.

Join us on March 6, 2026 from 6:30 - 7:30 PM in Saint Paul near Smith Ave (exact address to be shared with registered guests). Street parking is available for free. This event is accesible for all levels and no prior experience is needed. Please bring a yoga mat.

Optional community event to follow from 7:30 - 8:00 PM to connect with the people of St. Paul over tea and music.

BRING: Yoga mat (make note on registration if you do not have one). Leave cellphones in your bags/jackets to ensure a present experience!
