In the year 2012, Destroyer of Light was formed in the city of Austin, TX. From the beginning, Destroyer of Light set out to stay busy and get their name out there releasing 4 LPs, 2 EPs, and a split in a span of 10 years. Also, they have toured the US many times, played festivals like Psycho California, Southwest Terror Fest, Shadow Woods, toured with Pallbearer, and made their first appearance in Europe in 2019. Over the last two years, the band spent most of their time writing and recording two albums worth of material that have yet to be released. However, touring has always been a big part of their life, and they are ready to get back on the road deliver their brand of melodic doom metal to the fans. “Give in to sonic lust, turn off your head.”
