From opening Three Sheets Dalston in 2016 on a shoestring, to raising capital and opening the Soho site in 2024, Max Venning has built one of London's most decorated bar groups, with five consecutive years in The World's 50 Best Bars and six Tales of the Cocktail nominations.

This session covers the mechanics of the business and what it actually takes to open a bar that lasts for 10 years. Finally...what's the point? What's the reality of bar ownership, and is it a job for everyone?
