About this Event
Continuing the series that celebrates the curious, the unconventional and the brave. Each edition brings together two trailblazers from different worlds to explore one shared obsession — uncovering colliding perspectives but also sparking ideas.
This time, we’re turning the lights down and tuning into sleep. Join us for an evening exploring what happens when we switch off — and why sleep has become one of the most contested frontiers in wellness, science and modern life.
In conversation are Anna Persaud, CEO of sleep and skincare brand This Works, and Professor Guy Leschziner, leading neurologist and sleep expert, whose clinical research explores the science of insomnia, dreams and the restless mind.
Together they’ll examine the intersection of biology and business, ritual and research — from the neuroscience of sleep disorders to the billion-pound sleep industry, and the question of whether we’re chasing better rest or simply better branding.
Hosted by The Times journalist Claire Cohen, expect an inspiring exchange about what it really means to rest in a world that refuses to slow down.
