April 2 Maundy Thursday 6pm Taize Communion Service This service is meant to be meditative and is a musical version of contemplative prayer. Taize' services include silence, song (for choir, congregation, cantor and instruments), candlelight, stillness, prayer, contemplation, and of course in this service, communion. The service will conclude with stripping of the alter and leaving the sanctuary in silence.
Taize' prayer services are celebrated often for the ecumenical Christian Community formed in Taize', France.
