Cherish the Child is back again in 2026 to kick of April as National Child Abuse Awareness and Prevent Month. This FREE and fun family event is held at the Pueblo Mall in front of JC Penney and features 20 child-serving community agencies and features live musical entertainment from the Avondale Treble Makers, The Pueblo Children's Chorale and The Central High School Midnight Blues Jazz Ensemble.The event will features many door prize drawings for the kids and resources and other freebies from our community partners. Additionally, the program will feature a candle-lighting ceremony with local dignitaries and the reading of a proclamation at 5:30 pm.
