So I'm turning 50, and where else would I rather be than my spiritual home of the Birds Nest, Deptford? I would LOVE to see your wonderful face. There we'll be entertained by the eclectic wheels of DJ Phil Sick at 7.30pm, I'll be leading a brief quintet/sextet as Rigsby Smith & the Cosmonauts at 8.30, ex-Ozrics multi-instrumentalist Jon will be heading his world music/spice rock trio ;Champignon' at 8.45 and then we're off on a trip through late 60s/70s New York all-waves with the mighty quartet Moggy Galore at 10pm, before finally DJ Lessons dances us eclectically home til 1am. It's free, there's pool, there's a bountiful beer garden, there may even be some typical Deptford magic. No bumps, I'm still recovering from a back injury. See you there, yeah? Yeah. Well alright then.
